Charles Nurser lived in the whitewashed house on the left before the move to High Street.
The last house on the right is Champion House, origionally The Champion Inn, home of William Nurser. On the far right right can be seen the Boatman's Mission Chapel, variously called 'The Clubhouse' and 'The Tin Tabernacle' by various members of the family. Some of the brothers were strict Methodists.
